The Road to Hana tour with Valley Isle Excursions was absolutely incredible! Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the long drive feel effortless and fun. This tour was a highlight of my trip. The tour guides were informative, knowledgable, and professional. I also appreciated the communication ahead of the tour - not too many emails and the phone call ahead of the pick up to let me know they were almost to my pick up location. This was really the best way to see the sunrise at Haleakala since they manage the driving (with their expert driving, I did not get car sick!) and get the small tour group to the viewing area ahead of most other groups fo

We mostly loved this tour. Seeing the sunrise over the crater was a once in a lifetime experience. Unforgettable! The bus picked us up on time at the hotel although there was a bit of miscommunication regarding where to meet at the hotel. The tour guides were so friendly and super knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the volcano and we appreciated the warm ponchos that were provided! We really enjoyed our day trip despite the heavy rain for the first part of the day. Indeed, as Paula, our driver/guide, pointed out, the rain meant that the waterfalls were even more spectacular. Had an exceptional tour with this group. Tour size was small enough (9) that good attention was provided to each visitor and all questions were answered when asked. Tour guide (Malia) was just recently hired but is a local who knows the route and is very familiar with all the stops and Hawaiian lore that is associated with them. Stops were made with adequate time to take pictures, purchase souvenirs, and explore the location. I highly recommend this company if you want to spend a day exploring

Words can’t describe how wonderful Paula was on the Road to Hana Tour this week. Although pick up at our hotel was 6:15 a.m., I wasn’t ready to end our time with Paula at drop off (dark thirty). She shared so many details/stories while driving the 106 curves safely, stopping for our breaks, serving our yummy lunch, AND respecting local drivers. Highly recommend this company for your touring interests…they know the roads!
