A fun atmosphere, good food, great service!

It was a great evening. Several locals recommended this as the best so we thought we’d give it a try. It’s a unique and memorable Hawaiian experience. Very happy we went.

This Luau was incredible. The food was amazing, literally eleven single bite had so much flavor and taste. We were blown away. The venue is super cute and right on the water. The performers were amazing, it’s obvious that they’re passionate about hula. 10/10 experience.

Time to try Drums of the Pacific instead. Gone here many times. Always bring guests new to Maui here. Tried very hard to be loyal to support Lahaina but enough is enough. Good things first: beautiful setting right by the beach. Parking across the street is confusing but available and free. Watch the sunset. Nice fresh flower leis. (Remember not to trash them.) Jewelry and crafts, but more sales than demonstrations, which annoyed our guests. (Some good prices though, i.e. on kukui necklaces, but

The staff here are great and the location is stunning. Food is good and not a buffet style, which I appreciated. Still lots of options and large portions. The entertainment started later and didn’t include any fire dancers - but felt like an authentic luau

Wonderful luau atmosphere, amazing food, and fantastic hula program. Best of all were the wait and bus staff. Friendliest and most congenial local men and women. Thankful this business is employing so many whose lives were impacted in the 2023 fires.

This had been on my radar for many years until I recently visited, and it still exceeded expectations! Arrive with an empty stomach--there is so much food and all of it is delicious! I would gladly go again if I am ever lucky enough to find myself in Maui again.

This lu'ua was welcoming, beautifully presented and more. It was deeply connected to Hawaiian history, culture and traditions unlike other lu'uas which are more about flashy general presentations not specific to Hawaii. The food was also residential of Hawaiian ingredients plus being delicious. And I'm critical about that! But ordinarily I appreciated the narrative, the dancing and the music. The Old Lahaina Luau was a major disappointment for our party of 6, plus a young child on January 17, 2026. Have been to more than my fair share of luaus on Oahu and Maui thanks to three years at Pearl Harbor (with frequent visitors) and many trips post-Navy. Old Lahaina Luau is far and away the best. Very good food and drinks, exceptionally friendly staff, great pacing of the entire production and superb show, THIS is the luau Hawaii visitors should attend. We were looking for a fun and culturally authentic luau- and the Old Lahaina Luau fit the bill. Food was good - a nice assortment with a pre fixe menu. The show was well done; a nice explanation of Hawaiian history. Only complaint is that the performance faces one way for a good deal of it. If you’re fortunate to get seated on that side - you win!
